Beloved Community Cville illuminates the often untold history of Charlottesville. Guided by community members with deep roots here, our work ensures these stories are uplifted and honored; especially in a time when many voices are being silenced.

Our multi-racial team shares this history through education, storytelling, filmmaking, public art, and our community-centered newsletter. With your support, we can continue to inspire learning, foster understanding, and encourage meaningful engagement.

Your donation helps us:
  • Produce documentaries and films that preserve community stories
  • Create public art and sculptures that reflect our shared history
  • Develop educational programs and workshops for all ages
  • Sustain our newsletter to keep current events and this history alive and accessible
  • Give back to the community through culturally-rooted collaborations

Thank you in advance for your generosity. Your contribution helps ensure that history is remembered, honored, and shared; today and for future generations
